WHAT'S GOING ON IN ROTARY AND THE NEIGHBOURHOOD - April 1, 2024

PRESIDENT'S MESSAGE
Spring is here and we welcome all of our Members back from the sunny south and look forward to seeing your tanned faces at our weekly meetings.

Once again we had a busy month with the highlight being the very successful Newark Neighbours Porch Pickup on March 23rd done by our Rotary Club, NOTL Kinsmen and St Davids Lions Clubs.  It was wonderful to see the Newark Neighbours Food Bank Volunteers filling up the shelves as the day went on with around 100 homes in the community donating to this worthwhile cause.  Thank you to all the Rotarians who donated food and participated in the pickup of food.  It highlights the importance of Community Service fundamental to the objectives of our club.

Looking forward, our next major events include the Paul Harris Awards Event on June 11th, and Canada Day of course.  We will need volunteers to help with both events so if you can help it would be greatly appreciated.
