Burgers and Bingo
August 31st Fellowship

The Aug 31 meeting was a Club Fellowship event on a beautiful summer evening, held at the Lions Club Pavilion in St. Davids. Lions Club members prepared delicious hamburgers and french fries for Rotarians and their guests. The fresh tomatoes and onions were a particular hit mentioned by many.

Following the outdoor BBQ dinner, the ‘Fun Committee’ hosted 5 games of bingo.  Pencils, pens and daubers were flying as we tried to keep up with the rapid pace of numbers being called out. There were plenty of laughs and good cheer as we enjoyed a game that many had not played in years, caught up with fellow Rotarians and met some guests of members. Prizes (bottles of wine and large chocolate bars) were awarded to the lucky winners of the Bingo games. To top off a perfect evening, Brian and Jan shared with everyone their delicious muffins and brownies. A great night was had by all!
