Rotary Club
of Niagara-on-the-Lake

Welcome to another issue of our weekly bulletin! Find out who our upcoming speakers are, what we covered during the last weekly meeting, and upcoming events and announcements.
Club Assembly - Our Rotary Year Ahead

July 19, 2022 - Noon at Niagara-on-the-Lake Community Centre

Please join us for our in-person Club Assembly meeting. Each of our Club Committee Chairs will be addressing the Club on what the area of focus of their Committee centres on, and what is in store in that Committee for the coming year. All Committees will be seeking new Members to join them.

What infinite possibilities await us in 2022-2023 in our service to others.

We also will again be addressing the 2022-2023 preliminary budgets for both Club Operations and the Registered Charity. At our June 21, 2022 Club Assembly we did not have enough Club Members in attendance to form a Quorum to pass a Club Motion to approve these budgets. At this July meeting we will again seek to pass this Club Motion.

Please make every effort to attend the Club Assembly in person on July 19 2022.  Please only attend if you are asymptomatic.

See you all the Niagara-on-the-Lake Community Centre.

Special Thanks
  1. Special thanks to our Volunteers who came out to Rotary Rocks on July 7 to spread 12 tonnes of fresh sand on the site. It looks terrific.

This fundraiser is to be held on July 23 in Niagara Falls Ontario at St Mary’s Ukrainian Catholic Church.  This cycling event of either 19 K or 120 K, with Ukrainian food sales and a silent auction, hopes to raise $30,000 Cdn for Ukrainian Humanitarian Aid, being sent through the registered charity Help Us Help.
