On April 18th, The District is coming to Town.  Our Club has been chosen to host a District luncheon this year during District Conference week. This will give us the opportunity to learn about District activities as well as showcasing Our Club.
Hear the feature speaker via Zoom link from Pakistan. Aziz Memon is a RI Foundation Trustee 2020-2024 and recipient of the Service Above Self Award, the International and Regional Awards for a Polio-Free World, the Rotary Foundation’s Distinguished Service Award and Citation for Meritorious Service, with the President of Pakistan conferring Aziz with that country’s Pride of Performance Award in 2011. Aziz is the chair of the Kings Group, a conglomerate of 5 companies that is one of the leading textile and ready-made garment manufacturing and exporting groups in Pakistan. Aziz is a philanthropist and he and his wife Samina, are members of the Arch Klumph Society. We look forward to hearing from this Rotarian who clearly exemplifies service above self. We look forward to seeing all of you in person as we host the District 7090 Joint Luncheon on Tuesday April 18 2023.
Our Rotary Club has one asset, only one, and it is our members.  Members make it all happen, fundraising on behalf of amazing projects in our community and around the globe.  For a not very large club, we punch above our weight.  But we cannot punch at all without our members feeling engaged and appreciated.
As a club we’ve experienced many challenges over the past few years.  We need to hear from you, our members; not just hear, but LISTEN and where possible take meaningful action to improve.
Coffee Talks is about to launch.  The goal of the initiative is to get a read on members’ sentiment, both individually & collectively.  We will be looking for actionable suggestions & feedback to improve how we engage with each other and our communities, while optimizing the talent and skills in our club.
Someone from our Membership Committee will be contacting you soon to arrange a one-on-one informal meeting over coffee.  We want to know about your membership experience, what you most value in being a Rotarian, and most importantly, how can we make our club better.  You will be hearing from one of us in the near future to arrange a time.
Please note that all comments will be treated as anonymous.  We will bring your ideas back to the club for an open and interactive discussion at a club meeting in early June.  Thank you for your participation in advance.
From your Membership Committee.
