Paul Harris Dinner
Tuesday November 9
President Patricia welcomed members to the annual Paul Harris Fellow Recognition Dinner, which was held at Ravine Winery in St. Davids.  Several dignitaries were present including Tony Baldinelli (MP), Wayne Gates (MPP), Betty Disero (Lord Mayor Niagara-on-the-Lake), Eduardo Lafforgue (President of the Niagara-on-the-Lake Chamber of Commerce) and Frank Adamson (past District Governor-District 7090).

The evening commenced with the Yellow Door Theatre Project performing a musical interlude.  The young singers sang several beautiful solos, capped off by Louis Armstrong’s famous song ‘What a Wonderful World.’ After the exceptional entertainment, Joan Coyne led the singing of the Canadian and US national anthems.

During a delicious dinner, five outstanding Niagara-on-the-Lake Paul Harris Fellow recipients were formally acknowledged for their commitment to making a difference in the lives of others: Jane Andres, Brenda McArthur, Dr. Dan Patterson, Stephen Bedford and Bill French.  Their inspiring service to community and personal accomplishments were highlighted.

For those that were not able to attend the event, the coverage of our Paul Harris Dinner will be aired on YourTv Ch. 700 on:
Wednesday Nov. 17th at 9AM
Friday Nov. 19th at 9PM
Saturday Nov. 20th at 3PM
